Papilloma

developed countries. It can be responsible for the onset of neoplasias
in women's external genital tract (with the highest incidence in the
cervix) and it could be implicated in an important percentage of prostatic
carcinoma cases.

Direct identification of the viral genome via PCR-amplification.

Vaginal,
cervical, urethral buffer, biopsy. Samples must be kept in test tubes
with transport solution, preserved at 4°C over a maximum period of 24
hours or at - 20°C for a longer period.
